At the beginning of July we were as a rowing community Starnberg with 14 children at the national competition in Münster!
We drove a lot of great and exciting races and were able to show what we worked hard on over the winter!
On the long distance Vincenz Kondziella won in the Jung 1x 13 LG, as well as Jordis Echternach and Felicitas Stuchtey in the Mäd 2x 13/14 each in their department and thus moved into the A-Final!
Our two foursomes also fought in a strong field and thus both qualified confidently for the C-final of the respective age class, which both boats were finally able to win in a very exciting and strong race!
After a challenging race against the best boats in Germany, our girl 2x achieved a strong 5. Place and our 1x even managed to win silver in the A-Final.
Even outside of rowing, our athletes were able to shine and successfully competed in the General Additional Competition, which Bayern even won in the overall standings!
Overall, the FRY even made it to the 3rd of 15. Places, which is a great result in the overall standings.
