MRC1880 Annual General Meeting 2025

Dear MRCler,
Dear rowing friends,

We invite you to the Annual General Meeting.

The meeting will take place on Saturday 22nd March 2025, in order to: 3 p.m. in the Schlossberghalle the town of Starnberg, Vogelanger 2. The Schlossberghalle can be reached in a few minutes on foot from the train station or from the MRC (map).

One of the main topics of the meeting is the refurbishment of our Starnberg clubhouse.
From 13.30 is admission and registration, with the possibility of viewing the plan.

Subsequently to the Annual General Meeting, there is a limited number of seats (120) with the possibility of a joint closing with dinner at the Tutzinger Hof, Starnberg (Tutzinger Hof Platz 7, card, external link). Prerequisite is a prior registration, which is sent to the address pre-registration _jhv _essen@mrc1880.de to be judged. (own contribution: when registering for the JHV 30 € in cash to be paid).

Below you will find the invitation, agenda and a request of the board regarding the refurbishment.
In the next few days, another newsletter will follow with information on the recovery plans.

If you cannot come by yourself, please use the opportunity to give your voting authority to another MRCler. This can be done by means of a form (simply bring along, see below) or by sending an informal e-mail in advance birgit.hassler@mrc1880.de, with the subject ‘Power of attorney’.

Proposals for the Annual General Meeting are in accordance with § 12 of the MRC Statutes. until 07.03.2025 (incoming) at the club board to be submitted. Applications will be submitted to the ‘Schwarzen Brett’ in the main building and in the internal section of the MRC homepage published.
According to Section 10 of the MRC Statutes, the general meeting of members has a quorum if at least one quarter of the members entitled to vote are present or represented. If this is not the case, a repeat meeting with the same agenda will take place immediately afterwards at the same place of assembly, which is quorate in the presence or representation of at least one-sixth of the members entitled to vote.
Voting and voting rights are regulated in § 13 of the MRC Statute. Eligible and entitled to vote are all members who have reached the age of 18 and who have fulfilled their obligations to the MRC. Excluded from this are external members.
A member who is prevented from attending a general meeting may give a written proxy for that meeting to another voting member. A member may not represent more than two other members in a vote. The power of attorney is to be handed over to the Executive Board before the vote.

Subsequently to the Annual General Meeting, there is a limited number of seats (120) with the possibility of a joint conclusion with Dinner at the Tutzinger Hof, Starnberg. Prerequisite is a previous registration, to the address pre-registration _jhv _essen@mrc1880.de to be judged. (own contribution: when registering for the JHV 30 € in cash to be paid).

Anyone who is prevented from participating should make use of the option of proxy voting in order to ensure the broadest possible formation of the will of the members! The power of attorney can also informally by e-mail the MRC Administration birgit.hassler@mrc1880.de (please include "power of attorney" in the subject).

We hope to welcome as many members as possible on 22.03.2025 in Starnberg!
