The rowing 2026 was successful all around. With the professional sounds of Mulo Francel (saxophone, with piano accompaniment), four controlled eights, two fives, four fours and other boats were finished and let to water. The mirror-smooth lake with lots of sunshine made the trip a pleasure.
This was followed by the christening of two racing boats, which are especially designed for women or lighter rowers. St. Henry of Four was donated by a group of rowers – a thousand thanks for that! The second Täufling, a twosome named Roseninsel by Sportwart Frank, has already started several times successfully and gives hope for further rowing successes at the highest level.
In the meantime, other members flocked to eat and celebrate.
Freshly grilled, crispy rolls and a very large selection of fresh and delicious salads left nothing to be desired.
Then the driving badges were awarded by the Wanderruderwart Hellmuth.
With coffee and cake on the sunny terrace, everyone enjoyed the company and the beginning of spring.
All around good mood – the new season can come.
